Front Desk Clerk

Position Overview:

Front Desk Clerk oversees all receptionist and secretarial duties at main entrance desk. Perform a range of duties including answering phone calls, managing the switchboard, and maintaining the office budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required.
  • Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk.
  • Schedule special services, such as spa treatments, when guests inquire.
  • Refer guests to local amenities and venues.
  • Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department.
  • Answer all client questions and incoming calls.
  • Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages.
  • Accept all letters and packages, and distribute them to their appropriate departments.
  • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies.
  • Monitor, organize and forward emails.
